Does Masturbation Break Fast?
If a fasting person masturbates in Ramadan, is his fast broken? If broken, what is the expiation?
“Touching with hands does not invalidate fast unless semen comes out as a result. If semen comes out, fast is broken and requires to be made up (qada).”
If ejaculation occurs as a result of touching any part of the body, fast is invalidated and requires to be made up. It doesn’t require “kaffarah” which is 61 days.
