“It is not heard that Allah (swt) punished any nation in this month. Because Allah (swt)  punished previous ummahs/nations in other months.” (Al-Ghunyat’ut-Talibin)
 
Rajab is the month of repentance
  
“Seek forgiveness from Allah (swt) very often in the month of Rajab. Allah  (swt)  has servants whom He sets free from Hell in every minute of the month of Rajab. Besides, there are such mansions in Paradise that only those who fast in the month of Rajab will enter them.” (Daylami)

Rajab is the month of  worship
 
“Whoever fasts for one day at the beginning, for one day in the middle, and for one day at the end of the holy Rajab, the reward is as if he fasted the whole of Rajab and is given to him.” (Miftah-ul-Jannah)

“Rajab is the name of a river in Paradise which is whiter than milk, sweeter than honey and colder than ice. Those who fast in this month will drink from that river.” (Imam Ghazali)
