Does Quran mention other creatures living in the universe?

Are there any verses in the Quran that mention other creatures living in the universe?

Creatures which are mentioned in the Quran are classified into four categories:

The first group is the

angels

that have the power of “intelligence” and “wisdom” but do not have carnal desire.
The second group is the

animals

that have opposite features to angels. They have carnal desire but do not have intelligence and wisdom.
The third group is the

plants

and

inanimate creatures

which have neither carnal desires nor intelligence and wisdom.
The fourth is the group which has intelligence, wisdom and carnal desires. This is the category of “

people

“And when We said unto the angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam, they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He demurred through pride, and so became a disbeliever.” (Surat-u Baqara, 34)
“The similitude of the life of the world is only as water which We send down from the sky, then the earth's growth of that which men and cattle eat mingleth with it till, when the earth hath taken on her ornaments and is embellished, and her people deem that they are masters of her, Our commandment cometh by night or by day and We make it as reaped corn as if it had not flourished yesterday. Thus do we expound the revelations for people who reflect.” (Surat-u Yunus, 24)
“And cause the grain to grow therein
And grapes and green fodder
And olive-trees and palm-trees
And garden-closes of thick foliage
And fruits and grasses: Provision for you and your cattle.” (Surat-u Abese, 27- 32)
